Welcome
to our Website
The
Northwest
Ohio District 9 Baseball Coaches Association was founded in 1989. The
organization was created to serve all of the Northwest Ohio District 9
area
high school baseball coaches with several objectives in mind.
First,
and
foremost, to promote high school baseball programs throughout North
Central
Ohio. The organization selects and recognizes baseball players,
coaches, and
teams, in many different ways each year. The selection of All-district
9
baseball teams, All Star game, and compiling weekly stats are just a
few that
the D9BCA promotes.
They
also set an
official line of communication with many of the state baseball
associations
such as the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association, The
Northwest
District Athletic Board, and of course, The Ohio High School Athletic
Association.
The
organization
and the website are in hopes of establishing a high standard of ethics
and
integrity towards the game of baseball, and promote good fellowship and
a
proper spirit of sportsmanship among our members.
To
become an
active member you must be a high school baseball coach (head coach or
assistant) in the District 9 area. Attend at least 1 of 2 association
meetings
each year (listed on the Latest News Page) and pay $20.00 per year for
a school
membership which must be paid by March 1st of the current year.
For
membership
benefits, information, or questions you may review the Constitution and
By-laws
on this website and/or contact any of the officers of the D9BCA.
